Norfolk Senior Portrait Session | Celebrating Hadley’s Senior Year

“My favorite part of the session was definitely walking around and finding the best photo locations,” Hadley said. “We picked out places that were important to me throughout high school.”

Hadley started out feeling a little nervous—like most seniors who’ve never had professional portraits taken. “But Sarah made it so fun!” she shared. Making sure you feel relaxed, confident, and true to yourself is a big part of my approach at Sarah McCall Portraits.

We made stops at several of her favorite spots in the Virginia Beach area, but the colorful mural walls were the showstoppers. “I have so many favorites, it’s hard to choose—but I loved the photos in front of the murals the most,” she said.

Her advice to anyone preparing for senior pictures? “Bring reference photos and have some pose ideas! It helps bring down nerves and make your photos feel more personal. Sarah helped me lots coming up with pose ideas, so don’t worry if you’re not sure what you want!”
